I was born in Slovakia and immigrated to the U.S. in 1967.
I reside in New York City and my studio is in Putnam Valley, NY.
Since the age of 17 I have been continuously involved in sculpting
and painting. My art education in the U.S. includes the New School,
New York, NY; the School of Visual Arts, New York, NY; and The
Carving Studio, West Rutland, VT.
I also studied stone carving in Pietra Santa, Italy, and took
numerous courses from such noted sculptors as Phillip Pavia, Chaim
Gross, George Gach, Zev Ben-Zwi, and others.
